WALKING IN MY SHOES
Choreographer/Dancer: Caroline Rethy
Music: Depeche Mode - Walking In My Shoes (Live in Mexico City)
Try walking in my shoes… and notice where you go. The dancer’s own source of inspiration will not be disclosed here. Interpret freely. What part of me do you think I want to be understood by you? What do you feel that I am defending myself for? By trying to walk in my shoes, will you notice that the shoes fit, or that the path is familiar? There is insight in the way your mind may fill the gaps of my story in order to write my narrative, to make me coherent. So, walk.
